Philosophy
Our goal is to provide the most comfortable dental care possible in
a clean, safe and relaxing environment. High-tech starts with high-touch
individual care delivered by a knowledgeable and caring dental team.
Our mission goes beyond cleaning and filling teeth, by promoting and
improving the health of the people we serve. We continually invest in
improved technologies and advanced training to enhance our skills.

History
Opening in 1935, Richard T. Hansen Sr. began practicing in Montebello
serving his patients with the best quality of care available. Forty-five
years later, Ralph Edward Hansen took over the practice. This transition
from father to son allowed the office maintain a high level of service
for all patients and the community. In an effort to keep with changing
times and technology, the office building underwent a major remodel
in 1996. We are able to offer our patients a more comfortable environment,
an attractive new decor, and the newest in technological advances. Although
procedures have changed and equipment has been updated, one thing remains
the same. We are still committed to helping our patients develop bright,
healthy smiles.

Community Involvement
Growing up in Montebello, Dr. Hansen feels a strong commitment to maintaining
the community as a great place to live and work. To this end, he is
involved in several community based organizations. He is past chairman
of the Montebello
Chamber of Commerce, past chairman of the Montebello/Commerce YMCA
and on the board of the Beverly Hospital Foundation. Also involved in
his profession, he has served on the board and is past president of
the
San Gabriel Valley Dental Society.
When not treating patients, you might see Dr. Hansen helping at a health
fair, giving a talk on dental health at Beverly Hospital, or attending
a City Council meeting to stay informed of current city decisions. We
enjoy giving back to the community that has helped us brighten our patients
smiles for over 65 years.

Hours
To accommodate every patients' need, our service is provided by individual
appointment. Please call Monday thru Friday between 9:00-12:00 and 1:30-5:00
to reserve your special time. An emergency appointment may be arranged
at any time.

Conveniently located in the city of Montebello, we have a free standing,
single story building on the northwest corner of Whittier Blvd. and
19th street. As a historic, art-deco building, we are distinguished
by one of the oldest palm trees along Whittier Blvd.
Our office is easily accessible from several major freeways.
